Anxiety and Stress

​Stress is a normal bodily response and is usually triggered by a situation or event. once the event or situation has past our stress response reduces.

In our fast paced world we are constantly bombarded with stressful situations which often causes us to be in a constant stress response. This has an impact on our mental and physical health. By recognising and acknowledging when we are stressed and having strategies to manage stress effectively can help both our mental and physical health.

Anxiety is a constant state of worry and apprehension. It can make you feel nervous and often causes a feeling of impending doom. Unlike stress, anxiety isn't a response to a given situation and it doesn't reduce.
